Laneside Caravan Park is a welcoming camping and caravan site located in the picturesque Hope Valley, the gateway to the Peak District Just a 5-minute walk from the village of Hope in the Hope Valley, the heart of The Peak District, Derbyshire. We are a family run park in its 3rd generation, and have been open since the 1950s. Our main aim is to ensure you have a fantastic break in one of the worlds most visited national parks! We welcome families and quiet couples, and don’t accept young single sex groups and unaccompanied teenagers to ensure your stay with us shall be a peaceful one.

Welcome to our enchanting Shepherd's Hut, affectionally named ‘Jacks Hut’ after our late Grandad Jack, who used to Farm Laneside before it was turned into the Caravan Park. A hidden gem, nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Peak District. Perfect for a romantic retreat or an active adventure, our cozy hut offers unrestricted access to the pristine waters of the River Noe, a small river that winds its way through an area of outstanding beauty and teems with diverse wildlife. Our Shepherd's Hut features a comfortable double bed for a peaceful night's sleep, making it an ideal romantic getaway for couples. You'll find a delightful log burner in the living room, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Curl up with your loved one and enjoy a movie night on the smart TV, or bask in the crackling warmth of the log fire. The kitchen, though petite, is well-equipped, allowing you to prepare simple meals during your stay. The bathroom boasts a spacious shower and toilet facilities for a luxury touch. Bring your furry friends along, as we happily welcome pets to join in the adventure. There is a bespoke-made veranda that wraps around the hut. It stands over 4 ft high with step access and safety rails. It offers a wonderful elevated outdoor space to sit and unwind overlooking Mam Tour and the River Noe. Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of nature as you enjoy unrestricted access to the River Noe, which gracefully flows just steps away from the Shepherd's Hut.
