Jordan Cottage offers exclusive accommodation with fabulous views of The Fowey Estuary and valley. This is a fully equipped and roomy cottage with the following distinct rooms: A snug sitting room with log burner (free fuel in winter), a comfortable conservatory with a dining table and area for sitting and relaxing, a fully equipped kitchen ,a bathroom with both a bath and shower and a bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and dressing tables. Outside there is your own large, wildlife garden with garden furniture. Sitting outside with a drink and watching and hearing the many birds(including tawny Owls) is a real pleasure. The Cottage is a great place to stay in and relax and it is also a great base for going out to experience the best that Cornwall has to offer. There are also some wonderful walks which start in Bodinnick, including The Hall Walk with its specular views of The Fowey estuary and promise of a cream tea in Polruan or Fowey. Jordan Cottage has its own private, free parking space about 15yards from the wooden steps that lead down to the cottage's entrance.

We have owned Jordan Cottage, and been hosts, for over 20 years. We stay regularly and keep a close eye on the cottage and wildlife garden. We are new to this hosting arrangement so you have the opportunity to rent a really fabulous, unique cottage, with all its many facilities, at a bargain price.

The Fowey Valley is an area of outstanding natural beauty. A stroll down the lane brings you to the village of Bodinnick and The Old Ferry Inn which is a famous old pub that serves great meals and real ale. There is also The Bodinnick Ferry for a regular crossing over the river to the attractive and bustling town of Fowey. Fowey has an exciting range of eateries, pubs and entertainments. The estuary is at the heart of Fowey and there are opportunities to go on river cruises, hire kayaks, go on kayak group trips, or to hire your own dinghy. There are several beaches in Fowey including the timeless Readymoney Cove. Places nearby of particular interest include The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and several National Trust properties including Lanhydrock.
