Lovely rural location in Lincolnshire with plenty to do nearby. Our Kara Mia holiday cottage on the Porky Wrights smallholding offers a relaxing and tranquil break for couples and families alike. X2 medium well behaved dogs allowed on request but we ask that they are kept from the bedrooms and not on the furniture. It’s a detached, two double bedroom bungalow with a main bedroom king-size bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. The property has a bathroom with electric shower over the bath, and a toilet, it also boasts a separate toilet along the hallway. The lounge is spacious, with two sofas, TV and cosy log burner. The lounge leads onto a sunroom with garden aspect and a pool table to keep guests entertained rain or shine. The property has WiFi. The garden has a sunny aspect, is a good size and fenced to keep little ones from wandering. The front aspect has views across the road to open farmland. We have off road parking for two cars. We are located in Boston on the outskirts of Old Leake, north of Boston in a rural setting but within walking distance of our local pub The Butchers Arms. Old Leake has a Co-op store 5 minute drive from the cottage. A few good local pubs serve food all within a short drive. The immediate locality is perfect for country walks, birdwatching, cycling and photography. Nearby is the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park, RSPB Freiston Shore & Frampton. Also worth a visit is the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby. Skegness is a 30 minute drive for it's beaches and varied entertainment including Gibraltar Point.

We run our Porky Wright smallholding next to the cottage, it boasts a small herd of rare breed pigs, we sell amazing pork and sausages from the property. Guests will be offered escorted tours to visit our animals and meet the pigs as part of your stay. Your holiday location is next to our working smallholding, so please expect some farm traffic and occasional farm smells! We are on site to meet and greet visitors, deal with any issues and ensure you get the most from your stay. Porky Wrights Smallholding & "Kara Mia" Holiday Cottage is located on the outskirts of Old Leake, 20 mins north of Boston in a rural setting but within walking distance of our local pub The Butchers Arms. Old Leake has a Co-op store 5 minute drive from the cottage. The immediate locality is perfect for country walks, cycling and photography. A 10 minute drive away is the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park, we are also very close to the Freiston Shore and Frampton RSPB reserve. Many other attractions are within short drives, for example, Batemans Brewery, The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, and the market town of Boston has many heritage attractions to visit. If you fancy fun days out in Skegness, well that’s just a 30-40 minute drive away, the beach is great and it has plenty of parking. The Aquarium is well worth a visit. Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve offers great walks and fantastic coastal scenery. Fantasy Island Theme Park – just a little further from Skegness, offers fun and exhilarating rides. We are approx 30 minutes drive from Tattershall Castle and lakes.
