Keelyn is a two bedroom single-storey house just a stone's throw from Crantock Village centre and within a 3 minute walk of Crantock Beach. The cottage has has a light, bright decor with a homely, modern feel. The open-plan living area with plenty of comfortable seating and a separate dining area, make it a perfect cottage for families wanting to come back from the beach, jump straight in the shower and be able to keep mess to a minimum. However if a winter break is more of what you are looking for, the log burner in the sitting area is perfect for curling up in front of adding a real ambience. To enter the property there are steps up to the front door. These are in two flights. The first flight is seven steps to a small flat area and then a further six steps. To the right of the stone steps (with hand rail) is an area of lawn with shrubs. The house is on one level. Step inside the property and guests will find a the spacious living/dining room that is modern and bright including all of the home comforts. Straight ahead is the kitchen with door to the dining area and rear garden. The dining area is very well appointed and offers a homely and welcoming ambience. To the right is first, the shower room, then a separate WC. There are two comfy and well presented bedrooms within Keelyn, both offering a choice of twin beds or super king sized beds. Due to its central location, Keelyn will appeal to those who like to be within a close walking distance from Crantock village's facilities, as well as being just a short drive from all of Cornwall's sporting, leisure and other attractions. Crantock Beach is also just a three minute walk from the barn, making it an excellent spot for surfers and beach lovers. Crantock is a small Cornish village, set back from the coast, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.
