Refurbished traditional stone-built farmhouse sleeping 8 guests in 4 en suite bedrooms (1 twin is downstairs). One of 5 self-catering cottages arranged around the old stable courtyard. Large dining room (can be arranged to seat a group of up to 32) opening into a cosy sitting room. Enjoy cooking in the spacious fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar seating 8. Private furnished patio. Ideal for a relaxing getaway for family or friends- enjoy walking or cycling from the door. Well-behaved dogs (max. 2) welcome by arrangement in advance (charge applicable).
Enjoy a relaxing stay in Kestrel Farmhouse set on our family-run sheep farm in stunning hill countryside.
Discover Cynghordy viaduct, Llyn Brianne dam, waterfalls, castles, Bannau Brycheiniog, the Cambrian mountains, caves, the National Botanic Gardens, Aberglasney gardens and glorious beaches on the south and west coast. Enjoy the shops, pubs and cafes in the vibrant market town of Llandovery (5 miles) . Near Llanwrtyd Wells, home of bog snorkelling and Man v Horse. Relax in the indoor hot tub in a separate building available to all cottages (*bookable, normally available 10am-5pm)- please note it may be closed at any time for essential maintenance without notice or compensation to any guest. Kestrel is set on our working farm so dogs need to be on a lead outdoors for the safety of other people and our livestock. No caravans, mobile homes or tents permitted.
