This 4-star, 17th-century building features rooms with underfloor heating and 28-inch plasma TVs. Set in the beautiful village of Llangennith, it offers fresh, locally sourced Welsh food, just 1 mile from the beach. Elegantly furnished, each spacious room at the King's Head Inn includes a modern private bathroom and a hairdryer. Guests can relax with free tea and coffee, and a wall-mounted TV. The historic King's Head bar features wooden beams and exposed stonework. Evening meals are served, including Welsh venison, home-cooked Thai food, and a variety of local ales. The bar also offers a huge range of specialist malt whiskeys. The Inn is located in the beautiful Gower Peninsula, and is 15 miles away from Swansea. The village is set between three hills, offering many scenic walking paths, and a 12th-century church. There is also a surf shop and surf school in the village for guests enjoying the beach. The property is 1 and a half hour's drive from Cardiff and the Millennium Stadium.
