Welcome to our first Koppla Cabin – a concept that’s designed to give you the ultimate off-grid experience with all the luxuries of a modern boutique hotel. We urge guests to put their devices into flight mode and take a digital detox at Koppla, to reap the mood and mental health benefits of logging off and turning on to nature. The space You won’t find it hard when you take in the view ¬– gazing out over the lake or wildlife spotting in the ancient woodland means that as soon as you arrive, you’ll feel your cortisol dropping. What is hard is believing that we’re in Surrey, just 45 minutes from central London and 35mins from Brighton. The name Koppla is taken from Swedish and means ‘connection’ and we hope that a stay with us will help build your connection with loved ones and yourself. Sweden has also inspired the aesthetic, combining modern eco materials with traditional techniques to create a stylishly simple interior that will nourish your senses. ‘I det enkla bor det vackra’ is the principle we have followed, which translates as ‘in simplicity lies beauty’. We’ve provided you with an outdoor bath, for dips under the stars, a barbecue for al fresco slow-cooking suppers, a firepit for late night heart to hearts and a swing to remind you we’re all young at heart. Inside we’ve angled the bed so you’ll wake to views of the stunning Lake, warmed by the log fire and with an inviting power shower for when you’re ready to pull back the covers and get dressed. There is free & secure parking on site where you will be able to pick up a trolley for your luggage and make your way across the field to the cabin. The lake has a public footpath that runs around the perimeter and access at many locations so can still be enjoyed by all.
