Upon entering the studio, you will be greeted by an inviting and warm atmosphere. The open-plan layout maximizes space and promotes a comfortable and uncluttered environment. The main living and sleeping area is furnished with a comfortable king size bed, seating, and a small dining table. A skylight allows natural light into the space during the day, while curtains or blinds offer privacy when desired. A compact kitchenette equipped with essential amenities for basic cooking and includes a sink, a small refrigerator, a microwave, toaster, coffee machine, utensils, and dishes. It offers the convenience of preparing simple meals and snacks during your stay. A private bathroom, features a large walk-in shower, toilet, and a small sink. Outside you'll discover a private patio with scented planting where you can enjoy your morning coffee or unwind with a glass of wine at the end of a day spent exploring West Somerset. For those seeking entertainment, the studio is equipped with internet, a flat-screen TV, board games and books; there's something to keep everyone entertained. The location of the studio provides easy access to a wealth of outdoor activities and attractions. Whether you're interested in hiking, cycling, exploring local landmarks, or simply immersing yourself in the charms of nearby villages; there's never a shortage of things to do.

We moved to West Somerset from London in 2016. We tamed the garden and built the studio using local larch from a mill in Martock, Somerset; then we started on the house renovation. The studio is double-glazed and fully insulated from top to bottom; this was my special place to craft and create in comfort all year round with windows on three sides to bring in as much light as possible. The studio was converted to a self-contained holiday space in September 2022 and has been described as “a hidden gem” and “a fairy place”. Although this is in the garden, this is your space; I treat guests as I like to be treated when I travel - I am hands-off but here if you need something or advice.
