The Space Our Hideaway Pod is on the historic Lewiston Road of Drumnadrochit village, just a 10- 15 minute walk from the village centre. Close to Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and local amenities like pubs, café, supermarkets, restaurants, petrol, and buses, it is an ideal base for a short or long visit. You will also find various nature hikes at your doorstep, like Great Glen Way, Balmacaan Woods, Glen Affric, and Divach Falls etc. The pod is fenced away from the bottom of our cottage garden and is situated in a secluded and tranquil area with its own south-facing garden. The pod was built with high-quality materials to ensure maximum comfort during even the coldest highlands spells. We have decorated the Pod to create a hideaway retreat near Loch Ness for those who wish to have a getaway from busy modern living. Inside, it has a small kitchenette, an ensuite shower and toilet room, a comfortable memory foam double bed and fast Wi-Fi, but no TV. Outside, it has a generous secluded garden area with a small south-facing patio to relax. A perfect setting for 2 people. For those with limited time, a stay of 1-2 nights allows for a brief visit to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle ruins. For a more immersive and relaxing experience, we recommend 3-5 nights to fully explore the stunning Highlands. Locally, you can drive around Loch Ness and take various well-maintained and signposted local hikes to enjoy the beautiful landscapes, lochs, ancient woodlands, red squirrels and herds of deer. Nearby, you can use Drumnadrochit as a base to explore attractions all around, within 1-2 hours by car: Fort William for Ben Nevis, Glen Coe, Cairngorms National Park, Outlander sites, and various whisky distilleries. Free parking is provided on-site. The pod is fully equipped for a comfortable getaway near Loch Ness. We live on-site.

When we are not working, we love nothing more than spending quality time with our daughter, hiking in the mountains and chilling by the Loch.
