Longsands Lodge is a spacious, detached 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom family home which can sleep up to 10 adults comfortably. 4 of the bedrooms have the option for the beds to be made into king sized beds or left as two single beds. Located in the centre of the beautiful and historic artisan village of Tynemouth the Lodge is only 200m from it's world famous namesake - Longsands Beach. The beach is famous for good reason of course - over a mile of wide, golden sands it's regularly the training ground for the Newcastle United Football Team, but there is always room for all and it's the love of casual walkers, ramblers, dog walkers and athletes of all ages in all weathers. Longsands Lodge is a flexible home which suits most groups; such as holidaying families, wedding party guests, as well as business colleagues looking for excellent, home from home style accommodation with plenty of added extras. It really is our home, so all of the furniture, kitchen utensils and books etc. are ours too, to give that feeling of coming back to somewhere comfortable. We have tried to think of everything guests will need to make your stay just that extra bit special!

Both Longsands Beach and the smaller beach at King Edwards Bay are perfect for a walk in the fresh air - with or without a dog! There are great cafe's on the sands at each end of Longsands which provide fantastic snacks and light meals too. The large greens in the village really help create the feeling of space and open spaces - Percy Park, Priors Park and Beacons field to name just three of the many lovely family areas away from the beaches. This popular coastal village has a great range of independent shops, bars, restaurants, coffee houses, art galleries and weekly ‘quirky’ craft markets, all within easy walking distance.
