Low Mill is a C18kjth Grade II listed working cornmill in Bainbridge, Wensleydale. After a hard, year long refurbishment project we opened the Guesthouse in September 2011. The building had been empty for several years and was very run down. We renovated from top to bottom inside and out and now have a guest lounge and separate dining room on the ground floor and three ensuite guest bedrooms on the first floor. We have open fires and candlelight in the lounge and dining room. The refurbishment was undertaken to preserve and enhance the existing features of the building - so working mill equipment remains throughout. Our rooms are all very individual and reflect the previous use of the building.
Low Mill is in the pretty village of Bainbridge in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park ,We have beautiful walks from the door ,its real walking country,cycling is also brilliant in the Dales with road routes and lots of mountain bike trails nearby,the 2014 Tour De France came right past our door! The famous Wensleydale cheese is made just up the road in Hawes and Aysgarth Falls ,Bolton Castle and Hardraw force are all a stonesthrow away.There are lots of adventures to be had in the stunning Yorkshire Dales
