The Ludlow Mascall Centre is a self-supporting educational charity. Built in 1857 as a national school, the Ludlow Mascall Centre has been extended to provide residential accommodation which is rated 4 stars in Visit England’s group accommodation category. We have 7 twin rooms, a family room (one double bed and a set of bunk beds), and a room designed for those with limited mobility. All rooms are en-suite and come with fresh towels and bedlinen, complimentary toiletries, tea- and coffee-making facilities, free parking, and free Wi-Fi. They have thermostatically controlled radiators, opening windows, and are located on the 1st floor of the building with stairs and lift access. The residents’ lounge has a TV as well as a shared microwave, refrigerator, and additional tea- and coffee-making facilities. There is also a private courtyard garden for the use of our guests. Athena Taverna and Cafe at the Centre serves traditional English breakfasts and Greek specialties for lunch and dinner. PLEASE NOTE: Check-in is 3pm-5pm, Mon-Sun. Late check-in is from 6pm-8pm Mon-Sun. We apologise, but we cannot accommodate check-ins after 8pm.

Located in the heart of this historic market town, Ludlow Mascall Centre is within walking distance of the restaurants, markets, shops, pubs, museum, castle and church for which the town is known. Throughout the year there are festivals, fairs and events for all ages to enjoy. The Shropshire Hills and Mortimer Forest are on our doorstep, with miles of beautiful countryside and stunning landscapes to explore on foot or by bike. We have been part of Ludlow’s Walkers and Cyclists are Welcome initiatives since their inception and have a secure area for bicycle storage.
