TENCH - Super (our largest) cabin - all mod cons; overlooking our top lake. Parking next to hut. Steps (or Ramp for disabled) onto decking area overlooking lake and to hut interior. Fantastic scenic location with superb views over lakes with ducks, geese and moorhens plus open countryside. Enjoy walking round our woods and fields with (or without) the dog/s. Watch the numerous birds inc woodpeckers, tits, goldfinches and nuthatches on the birdfeeders from your bed when you wake. See buzzards, red kites and hawks cruising the skies overhead from the balcony, and at night view the starry skies with often shooting stars and asteroid showers - no light pollution here! Quiet accommodation surrounded by wildlife of all kinds. Shower room and toilet en suite. Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, small fridge/freezer. Washing machine available nearby. This is a hilly and heavily wooded area, lots of narrow lanes, but within easy distance of shops in Crowborough, Heathfield, Uckfield. Closest pubs Hadlow Down (mainly for drinkers), Buxted Inn, White Hart (Buxted) Blackboys Inn (recommended), Buxted Park Hotel, The Pig and Butcher (5 ash down), Ringles Cross. Ashdown Forest is 6km (The Foresters, The Crow and Gate, The Hatch, The Gallipot). Tunbridge Wells is just 8 miles, Lewes about 10. No buses, sorry. Nearest train station Buxted (London Bridge line).
