Luxury and peaceful property set in tranquil and secluded countryside on the Hampshire & Wiltshire border, just minutes from the New Forest National Park and 4 miles from Paultons Park (Peppa Pig world). It can accommodate 7 people (plus 1 on a single sofa bed) in 3 delightful bedrooms. The living area is a light and generous open plan lounge & dining & kitchen space which is the perfect place to entertain, relax and unwind with family and friends. It is child and infant friendly. Enjoys views of farmland, and the associated wildlife. Living area: Smart TV (so you can log into your Netflix/Amazon Prime accounts), large corner sofa with patio doors leading onto a large decked balcony overlooking our small holding with sheep, guineafowl, chickens and bantams. WiFi and central heating throughout. Living area is all on the first floor (with the exception of the ground floor secure storage). No smoking. Babes in arms are not counted towards the total number of guests staying. We can provide a travel cot, high chair, potty and toddler seat. Let us know if you have young children and would like us to put up stair gates. We live close by and so if there is anything else we can provide please do ask. Dining area: Seats up to 8 (with high chair available for babies/toddlers) Kitchen area: Electric oven (and grill) with gas hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster. The kitchen is well equipped with pans, dishes and cutlery etc. Washing up liquid and tea towels will be supplied for use. Utility Area: Washing machine, S/G storage cabinet. Bedroom 1: With king-size bed and pull-out single sofa bed. Bedding provided. Bedroom 2: With double bed and a single bunk on top. Bedding provided. Bedroom 3: With double bed. Bedding provided. Bathroom: Shower over bath, toilet and sink, towels are provided for guest use. Snug area: Bean bags, books and some games. Due to the unique location of the property, there are various land and water-based activities available within a short distance. Be it historical or cultural visits to the historic cities of Salisbury or Winchester or trips to the New Forest towns of Lyndhurst, Lymington or Brockenhurst, all are achievable within a short drive. The New Forest is situated just a short walk away (with open access forest for cycling, horse riding or walking) offering many different locations and wonderful views of the local countryside (including the famous animals of the forest). We have a number of excellent local golf courses and fisheries within very short distances, both our own fly fishery (Woodington Lakes Trout Fishery – discounts available) and coarse fishing are available within 10 minutes of the property. If beach days are your thing, then we have a number of excellent options with Mudeford, Hengistbury Head and Bournemouth just a little over half an hour’s drive away. We are also ideally suited for those looking for somewhere to stay during the various sailing events held in the Solent or Isle of Wight. It’s not just the adults that are spoilt for in terms of activities, the little ones are well catered for too, with Paulton’s Park and Peppa Pig World a very short drive away along with various other options. Pubs and restaurants are aplenty in the locality, from real ale houses to fine dining…all options are covered. The nearly places to explore are endless but don’t forget to just soak in the surrounding wildlife on our doorstep. Countryside pursuits are available, and it may be possible to arrange certain activities in advance though local guides etc. Storage facilities are available in the property.
