Mike and Jennie run Skye Getaways, which has 3 lovely holiday lets available in Dunvegan. We live just next door and are always happy to advise guests about local walks and things to do. We are both great lovers of walking, wild swimmimg and cycling and moved to Skye from London in 2018 for a complete life-change - we love the island. We welcomed our first guests in 2019 and are more than happy to help you come up with ideas to make your stay extra special.

Our self-contained holiday accommodation options are each thoughtfully planned to offer a memorable stay with a little touches to make them extra special. The accommodation is ideally placed in an elevated position, set back from the road but within easy walking distance of the facilities of Dunvegan, including places to eat and a village shop.
MacLeods View Apartment is on the ground floor and has two bedrooms (a superking and a king size bed), 2 shower rooms and stunning views from the picture window in the living room over Loch Dunvegan and MacLeods Tables. The kitchen-diner is well equipped for self catering.
The Cabin is a self contained spacious wooden garden chalet with a king-size bed-sitting room, kitchenette and shower room.
The Skye Loft Apartment has an ensuite king-size bedroom and an open-plan kitchen and living room.
There is private free parking right outside the door. There is an outside seating area and barbeque available on request.

Dunvegan is a great base for exploring Skye. It is a friendly small village by the North West coast. Loch Dunvegan is a perfect spot for seal and otter spotting and there are countless amazing local walks. Dunvegan Castle is about a mile away from the property and we sit neatly between Coral Beach and Neist Point, two of the best known spots on Skye. We are situated a short drive from and in the middle of 3 world renowned restaurants (The Three Chimneys, Lochbay and Edinbane Lodge) ... book well ahead if you want to eat at any of these. Portree is less than half an hour's drive away in one direction and the Cuillins about the same distance in the opposite direction.
