Welcome to our wonderful seaside cosy three-bedroom cottage, just 80 meters from the sea, offering stunning views and a cozy retreat. Cherished by our family for 27 years, this delightful cottage is more than just a holiday home—it’s a treasured haven filled with memories and charm. With its cozy ambiance, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. Just a short 1-minute walk to the sea and only 8 minutes into the heart of Whitstable, you’ll find yourself close to the town’s vibrant restaurants, coffee shops, and traditional pubs—all just a 5-minute stroll away. The cottage features a lovely garden complete with comfortable garden furniture, making it the ideal spot to enjoy Whitstable’s famous sunsets and a glass of wine in the afternoon. Tennis courts are conveniently located at the bottom of the garden, and a golf course is just a 5-minute walk away. Inside, you’ll find all the comforts of home, including a full Sky TV package with sports, movies, and BT Sports. Plus, the much-loved ‘Windy Corner’ Cafe is just around the corner, serving delicious food perfect for any time of day. This old cottage spans across 3 floors and has steep stairs so please keep this in mind. There are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom located upstairs and a downstairs bathroom on the ground floor. The cottage features a kitchen-diner and cosy living room which leads out onto the front garden. Parking is free on Nelson Road but can get busy during peak times. Once parked you can leave your car there as everything is walkable. The train station is approx 15 minutes walk from the cottage. There are also good bus services in the town.

We are a married couple of nearly 40 years, with three children. Our connection to Whitstable runs deep—our parents have called this charming town home since the 90s, and our children have grown up making cherished memories in this very cottage. Whitstable is a beautiful and vibrant coastal town known for its fresh seafood, artistic community, and stunning sunsets. 1. Local Delights at Restaurants and Cafes We recommend Birdies which is a family run restaurant we have been going to for years. The Duke of Cumberland serves a lovely Sunday lunch and has a nice outdoor courtyard. Castellum Pizzeria is an Italian restaurant at the end of Nelson Road. Samphire is a small boutique restaurant in the high street. There are plenty more options to choose from, including a nice drink in the Neptune (the pub on the beach!) 2. Discover Whitstable’s Famous Oysters Known for its oyster heritage, Whitstable is the perfect spot to sample fresh seafood. Visit the renowned Whitstable Oyster Company or try a delicious plate at Wheeler’s Oyster Bar, a local favourite since 1856. 3. Spend an afternoon browsing the unique stores and discovering one-of-a-kind treasures. 4.
