Mayfield cottage is in the North Pennines in the lovely village of Ireshopeburn an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB). The cottage is a cosy retreat with log burning stoves in both the living room and dining room. The property is full central heated. One double and one twin bedroom. Upstairs WC. The main bathroom is situated on the ground floor with roll top bath and walk in shower and WC. There is a well equipped kitchen with double oven, dishwasher and washing machine. We are Pet friendly (see house rules). Free Wifi (super fast broadband) available. Travel cots and high chair available on request. With stunning surrounding countryside, Mayfield Cottage is ideal for walkers and cyclists and country lovers in general

We have been hosting guests at Mayfield Cottage since 2016. We joined this booking site in Sept 2018. Our guests tell us they love the cottage and the way it feels so homely and beautifully decorated. The cottage is in some stunning countryside and ideal for walking and cycling or just generally enjoying the countryside. We have lots of facilities on our door and there is loads to do in the surrounding area. By car, we are 1 hour from the Lakes. Newcastle and the Northumberland coast is again just 1 hour away. Historic Durham and Hexham are only 30km from the cottage. If you want a location to rewind in a stunning countryside location then Mayfield Cottage is for you. We look forward to hosting you.
