Welcome to Maytree Cottage, in the beautiful village of Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant, Powys.
Our cute, welcoming cottage is an ideal base for exploring the gorgeous surrounding area of mid wales, which is a gorgeous part of the world for hiking, running, cycling, or just relaxing.
The village itself is four miles from one of the wonders of wales, Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall, twelve miles from the picturesque lake vyrnwy and 26 miles from the historic town of Shrewsbury.
I’m Cara and I live in the beautiful tanat valley, in mid wales! Moved to the gorgeous village of Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant two years ago, from kent!
The area is stunning for getting out and about, for walking and running.
I love to run and keep fit, also enjoy reading and learning new things! ☺️
I live just along the road, so will be on hand if needed at all. There is a key safe on the wall to let yourself in! Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask! ☺️
Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant is a beautiful village, which boasts two pubs, a pizza/fish and chip takeaway, and Indian takeaway and two village shops, which you can pick up most essentials.
There is also an award winning butchers and a craft shop further up the village.
If you want to do a larger shop, Oswestry is only 10 miles down the road, which has an aldi, Lidl and sainsburys. ☺️
There is a free car park directly opposite the property and always has spaces available.
