Explore the mining history of the Fife villages and visit the nearby Lochore Meadows Country Park for some sailing, rowing or a walk round the nature reserve. There are mountain bike trails and Scotland’s only cycling circuit is situated 5 mins drive from the house. Venture into Kirkcaldy for a walk round the Links Market when it’s on, or head to Burntisland or St Andrews for a day at the beach or perhaps a round of golf.
