Elaine & Johns Meadowhead Cottage is five star luxury with modern interior and comfort. Pamper yourself with lots to do and see whilst staying in a truly home from home. The village of Plains, Airdrie on the A89. Situated in the heart of central Scotland midway between Glasgow & Edinburgh our central location is an ideal base for both cities. Relax in our traditional Scottish cottage which dates from 1900, a former miners cottage which has now been renovated whilst retaining period features. Guests will have full and unrestricted access to the entire cottage during their stay. There is also a large enclosed rear garden that guests can use. The cottage is bright and airy and the lounge has a coal fire with reclining chairs. Guest access The cottage which is level apart from one step has easy access. Private parking for cars at cottage. Guest interaction The cottage is behind our house so we will be available throughout, but you will still have complete privacy during your stay.
