Minnow’s Rest is a charming one-bedroom coastal bolthole in the heart of Seahouses. This beautifully designed dog-friendly cottage is just metres from the bustling harbour. Perfect for couples seeking a coastal retreat, it comfortably accommodates two guests with one bedroom and bathroom.
For larger groups, three additional properties are available within the same courtyard.
THE PROPERTY BREAKDOWN:
The property is situated across a single floor:
Porch: Small storage area.
Open Plan Kitchen and Dining Area: Fully equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, cosy dining table, comfortable seating area, and TV.
Bedroom 1: Double bed, wardrobe, bedside tables with lamps, and dressing table.
Bathroom: Walk-in shower, toilet, sink, and heated towel rail.
Outdoors:
Communal Laundry Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, and cleaning materials.
Parking:
Designated parking for one car per property in the cobbled courtyard.
Important – Access is via a small archway unsuitable for large vehicles, including most SUVs.
Pets: Guest may bring 1 pet. Pets must be added and charged for via the Guest Portal.

Seahouses’ central location offers excellent village amenities, including independent shops, a butcher, baker, pubs, restaurants, a newsagent, petrol station, library, and takeaways. The working harbour is also your gateway to the Farne Islands, renowned for puffins (best in June/July), grey seals, and seabirds. This makes the area particularly attractive to birdwatchers and photographers.
