New Church Cottage is a gorgeous townhouse, with an air of Georgian elegance. The cottage is in the heart of Tetbury, one of the Cotswolds’ most famous market towns, renowned for its royal connections and antique shops. The house has two stunning, double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a beautiful living room with a wood burner, a small but perfectly formed kitchen-dining area and a charming courtyard with a BBQ. Walking straight into the cosy living space of the cottage, you’ll get a sense of its rich heritage, dating back to the 18th Century. An antique-surround wood burning stove is the centrepiece of the room, with tasteful historic artwork, Sanderson fabrics and antique furnishings giving the room a timeless, elegant feel. Through the living room sits a small but well-equipped kitchen, hand-painted and stocked with all that you’ll need during your stay, with a handy dining space to the rear. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. 1 well-behaved dog/s are welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog/s and you will be sent a request for the additional fee. The cottage has two steep staircases between each upper floor, making it unsuitable for guests with mobility restrictions or young children.

If you’re a lover of all things vintage or antique, Tetbury is undoubtedly the place for you, with some 25 antique stores located throughout the town. There’s an abundance of stylish and arty cafes, pubs and restaurants and independent interior, clothing and food shops, as well as Highgrove - Prince Charles’s Tetbury residence-inspired shop. Enjoy wonderful walking routes right from the front door, and the Tetbury Goods Shed, with its eclectic mix of music, art and theatre, is a minute away. Within a 10-mile radius, there are several places of interest to visit, including Nailsworth, the National Trust’s Newark Park, Westonbirt Arboretum, Owlpen Manor, Woodchester Mansion, Highgrove House, Badminton, and Gatcombe Park. Food stores: There is a well-stocked Cooperative food store in walking distance on the High Street, while a Tesco superstore is the main supermarket in Tetbury, a 15-minute walk from the cottage, on London Road. The town also has some great specialist food and wine shops including, Vinotopia, Hobbs House bakery, House of Cheese, Jesse Smith Butchers, Lola & Co Deli and The Grocer of Church Street for health foods.
