We are a one bedroom cottage, set on one level, with plenty of parking, nestled just below The Skirrid Mountain. There is a kitchen, dining, living space that leads onto a private terraced area. The bedroom has one double bed, with a sofa bed in the living area and Jack and Jill bathroom set up for convenience of guests. Our cottage is the perfect escape, for couples, families, solo travellers or those on business trips. Pets are welcome - there is a charge of 25 pounds at the property (cash or bank transfer), unfortunately Booking. com don't allow to add it as part of the booking. Tea, coffee and milk is provided for arrival.

We are a short drive and walk into Abergavenny Market Town, offering restaurants, bars, shops, cafes, museums and castles. We are an ideal location to access the World Famous Food Festival, Steam Rally or Festival of Cycling, or to dine at the iconic Walnut Tree restaurant. You have the idyllic privacy of the Welsh countryside, but you're not far from the action! It's a great location for walking, cycling, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside & beautiful Black Mountains. Abergavenny is the gateway to Wales and the Brecon Beacons National Park. Oak Cottage is located just off the foot of the Skirrid Mountain, practically on the grounds of Wernddu Golf Club, making us the perfect base for exploring Abergavenny as well as the surrounding areas, with great links to the rest of South Wales. Oak Cottage is a short drive (5 mins) and walking distance (30 mins) into Abergavenny Town.
