This hand-built, off-grid woodland cabin is a haven, where memories are crafted with a backdrop of the soothing sounds of nature. The Cabin The Captain's Rest effortlessly blends modern luxury with rustic charm. Accommodating two guests, it features a king-size bed, complete with a cleverly hidden storage drawer. The cabin has an indoor bathroom equipped with hot running water, a shower, and an eco composting toilet, ensuring both comfort and eco-friendliness. Heated via a wood-burning stove and a towel radiator in the bathroom, warmth is always at hand, allowing you to feel cozy even on the chilliest of nights. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a microwave, electric hob, toaster, kettle and fridge / freezer. There is also a small oven and hob as part of the wood burning stove. We include board games and books so that you can enjoy activities away from modern distractions. Outdoor The outdoor experience at FINGLEN is undeniably enchanting. The expansive veranda serves as an ideal space for al fresco dining or simply soaking in the tranquility of your surroundings. At dusk, the breathtaking sunsets over the river offer a visual delight, while the outdoor bathing experience provides a unique twist.
