Old Spittal Hospital Apartment is on the top floor of a 17th century building with lovely views across old Stirling town and the adjacent community garden. Property (54C) is accessed through a main door and up one flight of stairs. Inside the property all rooms are on same floor It has two guest luxury bedrooms plus one shower room. One bedroom has a UK King size bed, the other bedroom has a double bed. There is a bright living room with dining area for four guests. The living room has a 55" TV. The kitchen is fitted with oven, hob and washing machine with a small seating area for two people.

Went on a career break in 2008, never got round to going back to my corporate job. I now own Old Spittal Hospital Apartment in Stirling. Can't live without my morning cafetiere of coffee, I will stay anywhere as long as its clean and comfortable, getting too old now to be roughing it. I live nearby and can be phoned at any time for queries you may have. There is a keysafe at the main door of the building and the access code will be provided a few days before arrival. In the keysafe you will find a fob to electronically open the main building door and a key for the front door of the apartment.

Old Spittal Hospital Apartment is located half way between the city centre and Stirling Castle. There are numerous pubs and restaurants just five minutes down the hill from the apartment on Baker Street. The Old Town Jail is just a short walk up the hill from the apartment plus the Church of the Holyrude. There is a lovely community garden located next to the building There is street parking outside the property but please note charges are made by the local council during the day. Parking is free overnight. Like other cities around the world city centre parking during the day is at a premium especially in the summer when the town is busy with tourists. I have agreed with The Old Town Jail (situated 100metres up the street from the apartment on the left hand side) that my apartment guests can have free car parking for the duration of their stay. The parking is through the second set of gates, go past the Visitor Information Centre and park outside the Old Town Jail. Please note this car park does have gates which are locked overnight, usually around 7pm (can be later if there is a function on) and are re opened about 8am in the morning. Be aware you will not be able to get to your car at night and it is not possible to request access. Also be aware the street which the apartment and the old town jail are situated on has a one way traffic system and you will need to follow this round to get back nearer to the apartment should you wish to load luggage, etc when leaving rather than carrying up the road to the car park.
