The estate offers so much to explore from the paths around the wildflower meadow, private fishing loch (with boat and a pavilion) to the bluebell woods on the walk down to the palm tree garden on the shore. Located near Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway and set apart from the hustle of busy roads, guests enjoy the peace, tranquillity, inspiring scenery and enchanting gardens. The cottages have an enclosed garden with furniture.

Many local attractions including the Historic Scotland sites of Dundrennan Abbey walking distance from the cottages; MacLellan's Castle, Caerlaverock Castle and Drumlanrig Castle less than an hour's drive away. Threave Gardens in Castle Douglas are beautiful as are Castle Kennedy and Gardens on the outskirts of the inspiring Galloway Forest Park. Like food? Then you'll enjoy a browse around our farm shops and Scotland's food town 'Castle Douglas'. So much choice for things to do whatever age or interest. There are many sandy beaches within 30 minutes’ drive. Dumfries & Galloway is a naturally inspiring region with plenty for all ages to enjoy.
