Oxford Riverside Glamping is situated within private grounds adjacent to the River Thames. Oxford University is 4.3 miles away with direct buses from outside the main gate. Free private parking is available on site. Each bell tent is equipped with a double bed, electric heating, charging points and an external fire pit. There are male and female toilet and shower facilities on site, as well as an external wash-up area and a communal cooking area with 3 gas ovens, 3 refrigerators and a microwave. Bed linen, cooking utensils, eating utensils and hot water bottles are all provided. Two camp beds are also supplied, but you will need to provide your own bedding should you wish to use them. Blenheim Palace is 6.7 miles from Oxford Riverside Glamping and Bicester Village is 16 miles from the property. Farmoor Reservoir is a 22-minute walk away, which provides sailing and windsurfing. Day passes are also available for trout fishing.

Set within an Area of designated Outstanding Natural Beauty just 4 miles outside the city of Oxford and situated within its own grounds adjacent to the River Thames, Oxford Riverside Glamping is an ideal destination for a tranquil holiday, romantic weekend away, or as a base for exploration. Each bell tent sleeps up to 4 people and is equipped with rustic furniture, rugs, a candle chandelier (as well as other lighting) and a double bed dressed with pillows, duvets and crisp white bed linen. Hot water bottles and extra blankets are provided, but we do advise that you bring some warm clothes. Two camp beds are also provided, but you will need to supply your own bedding should you wish to use them. Outside each tent is a seating area and fire pit. Cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils are all provided, as well as firewood and charcoal. We do ask that you bring your own food and drink, towels and bathroom essentials Just a short walk from each tent, there are ladies and gents toilet and shower facilities, an external wash-up area, a covered cooking area with two ovens and secure mobile phone charging points. Please note, we do not accept Stag or Hen parties.
With stunning countryside to enjoy, we are located directly on the Thames Path, with beautiful riverside walks, fishing in season and birdwatching. Opposite lies Wytham Woods, an area of ancient woodland as well as a site of special scientific interest. Outside the main gate is a direct and frequent bus route to the centre of Oxford, the 'city of dreaming spires'. The world-famous university is only 10-15 minutes away. Within walking distance is Farmoor Reservoir, which boasts year round sailing and windsurfing as well as a wealth of wildlife to enjoy. Day passes are also available for trout fishing. Attractions nearby also include Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon and Bicester Village. London, Bath and Stonehenge are also within easy travelling distance. There are several public houses, restaurants and local shopping all within walking distance of the house.

A self check-in option is available at this property. Guests can still also choose to be personally greeted upon arrival, with social distancing measures in place.

Please note that the property can only accept bookings from family groups when hiring a maximum of 3 tents. The entire site will need to be exclusively hired in order for the property to accommodate any more than this.

Bookings from ‘Hen’ parties and other adult-only groups (numbering over 5 people) can only be accepted on the condition that they hire all glamping accommodation and utilise the entire site.

Large adult groups that attempt to get around this policy by booking several tents under different names will not be accommodated. The property reserve the right to ask guests to leave at any time and without a refund should this be confirmed to have happened.

The property is unable to accept full site bookings for July and August. April, May, June and September will still be available for exclusive hire.
