The barn is on one level and the living area has an open plan layout with fully equipped kitchen, dining table, large comfortable sofa and wing back chair. There is a beautiful inglenook fireplace with log burner perfect for relaxing in front of after a long walk whilst enjoying your favourite film or box set on the Smart TV. A basket of logs and kindling is included. The spacious yet cosy bedroom has a huge emperor bed dressed with luxury cotton bed linen and a large antique wardrobe with plenty of space for all your clothes. The luxurious en suite bathroom has a generous sized walk in shower as well as a roll top slipper bath and vintage washstand with lovely copper basin. Outside is a private paved south facing garden with seating and a table to enjoy a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening. Sun loungers and barbecue are also available. The cottage has tiled flooring in parts which can be a bit cold under foot so if you have room to pack slippers we would recommend bringing them along. Parking for two cars beside the barn. Muddy boots and bicycles can be stored in the bin store next to the cottage. Please note there is no lock on the door but we are in a tucked away location. We ask that you don't take bicycles into the barn. Free Wifi Shared laundry facilities Important: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys we require guest verification, which is provided by Superhog. Upon confirming your booking, Superhog will reach out to the lead booker through a secure link, providing detailed instructions for verification. The online verification process requires a government-issued photo ID. Once verification is successfully completed, the check-in information will be provided.

Goose Feather Barn is on the outskirts of Wedmore surrounded by fields but an easy 5 minute walk to the centre of the village with a wide variety of shops and three pubs all serving good food is just a 5 minute walk along a farm track. There are local markets to visit, National Trust Houses and Gardens, Bristol and Bath are under an hours drive away and Wells and Glastonbury only 15 minutes. Wedmore has a very friendly golf club, there is a shooting range 10 minutes away at Rodney Stoke and nearby fishing at Lands End Fisheries. Not forgetting the Somerset Levels on our doorstep with it's many Nature Reserves perfect for bird watching, walking and cycling. It is the perfect base to explore all that Somerset has to offer.
