The Old Stables is a stunning house split over 3 levels with fantastic views. The property is located a 5 minute walk from the famous Anstruther Harbour and Fish Bar. Second Floor – Master Bedroom with ensuite and second bedroom with 2 single beds. First Floor – Kitchen, Main Bathroom and open plan living room and dining room. Smoking is not permitted within the property. We expect all guests to respect the property and neighbours. Guest have full access to the house via the front door. The property comfortably sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms. Important: We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

Anstruther is well known for its iconic harbour and a wide variety of specialist shops and restaurants including the award winning Anstruther Fish Bar. The following places we recommend you visit in the local area such as St Andrews Farmhouse Cheese Company, Ardross Farm Shop, Bowhouse Farmers Market, Wilsons Fish Market, Kingsbarn Distillery and Eden Mill Gin Distillery. Within a 10 minutes drive, you have the picturesque villages, including, Earlsferry, Elie, Pittenweem, St Monans, Crail and Kingsbarns. St Andrews is home to the Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the famous Old Course, it’s known worldwide as "the home of golf”. St Andrews has seven world-class links courses and others in the area include The Dukes, Kingsbarns and Fairmont St Andrews. We also recommend you attend the StAnza which is Scotlands International Poetry Festival which is held in St Andrews every March. Getting around All the shops and restaurants in Anstruther & Cellardyke are within walking distance. St Andrews, The Old Course and many pubs, cafes and restaurants are a 15 minute drive from the property. The bus routes are a short walk away and easy to use. Leuchars train station is a 25 minute drive away, with connections to Edinburgh, London and Aberdeen.

Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process. The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay. Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
