The cosiest of cottages situated right in the centre of Church Stretton. A unique space, featuring an optional hot tub to top the stay off with some indulgence (a one-off of 70 pound fee applies). Romantic weekend? Walking break? Friends reunion? Family stay? This is a perfect base. Local pubs, restaurants, cafes, and shops are all within walking distance. Scenic walks on Long Mynd, Carding Mill Valley, The Lawley, and Caradoc are easily accessible by foot or car and have to be part of your visit! Enter into the open-plan lounge with TV, small dining table for 4, and kitchen area where you are immediately wowed by the original and restored oak beams of the barn. At the rear of the cottage is a double bedroom with a patio door leading to the optional hot tub. The unique oak spiral staircase leads to a twin (2 bed) mezzanine room. This room is open-sided to the kitchen / living area and has no door or wall, so we have supplied a folding privacy screen that can be set up to at least help with partitioning the room but please be aware that noise from downstairs will travel if young ones are sleeping upstairs. We have a compact bathroom with shower. It is a relatively small room. OPTIONAL HOT TUB NOTES: The hot tub is optional and 'by request' at a fee of 70 pounds per stay. Please message us, and we will send a payment request. **You are welcome to enjoy the hot tub at your own risk and between the hours of 8 am and 11.00 pm only, due to consideration for neighbours** Important: We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice of a 500 pounds refundable deposit or non-refundable 40 pounds damage waiver. We recommend purchasing the damage waiver as this protects you in the case of accidental damage during a booking.

You will be located just off The Square in Church Stretton which is right in the centre of the town. We have some lovely pubs, restaurants, cafes and individual boutiques all within walking distance. Walks on the Long Mynd, Carding Mill Valley, Caer Caradoc, The Lawley, and Rectory Wood are easily accessible by foot or car and are highly recommended.
