Pippin Lodge is a converted barn, built in the 1800s, wonderful peaceful place to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside with breathtaking views of the black mountains. No traffic, no noice pollution, just peace and quiet. Just 5 minutes drive away, you can enjoy the historical village in Llandovery with lots of places you can go for a meal. Llandeilo is only 10 minutes drive away and has been voted the best place to live in Wales. It has Art shops, Castles and great country walks together with great places to eat( very dog friendly). If you need to get away from your busy life and enjoy some peace and quiet, Pippin lodge is the place to come and stay. You can do your own thing or you could book a wellness course and enhance your life. This would include reiki therapy and meditation. You can also book a 3 day Reiki training course. 1&2, 3&4 with Sonia, A qualified reiki master teacher. Please contact us if you wish to book for these extra services. You are welcome to bring your pets but we ask that you contact us before booking to check extra fees etc and to make sure we can accommodate your pet.

Hi, my name is Sonia, i have lived in Wales for 17 years and raised my children here. It is a beautiful part of the world. I am home based and I’m almost always available if you need anything during your stay. I am a reiki master teacher and can provide reiki treatments during your stay, if requested. Please let me know in advance if you would like to book an appointment. I’m a huge animal lover and have rescued many in the past. We do have resident cats and dogs but you probably won’t see them during your stay. I speak Spanish and Italian as well as English. I love, meeting new people.

We are fortunate to be living in such a beautiful part of the world. Carmarthenshire is in the heart of Wales and offers lots of interesting historical places to go and visit. We are located in a quiet location surrounded by Welsh farming countryside. Surrounded by trees and nature, our home is in an idyllic,relaxing and quiet location. 4 miles down the road in Llandovery. Home to the Norman castle remains, built in 1110. Now is is a favourite meeting spoke for bikers and cyclists among others. 8 miles away is Llandeilo. There’s the botanical gardens, Aberglasney and Newton house. Carreg Cennen castle. Llandeilo was also named the best place to live in Wales by the Times newspaper. It was described as colourful and characterful. If you feel like travelling further a field, you are spoilt for choice for beautiful beaches, Tenby, Aberporth and the Gower to name but a few. There are also so many places of interest. The Kite feeding centre just down the road and the National Trust Dolaucothi gold mines less than half a hour away. We also have a local bus service at the bottom of the track which offers local bus routes and a train station a short drive away.
