Twlc Trefor offers a private and peaceful experience, situated behind the courtyard of our retired farm. This bespoke rural retreat greets you with the original historic and irregular stone farm walls and surrounding buildings. The unique accommodation is breathtaking, having been upcycled from corrugated sheets once used around the old family farm, replicating the traditional pig ark. Sit back and relax to the sounds of Cwmere stream and the continuous song of local wildlife. It includes a TV and smart stick, a double bed dressed with Baavet bedding, an en-suite toilet and hand basin, equipt kitchenette (mini fridge/microwave).There is also a Chilli Penguin Wood-burner stove to keep you warm on cooler nights, a full bucket of briquettes supplied. Multiple plug sockets and a 2x USB charging points can be found inside. Just a stone's throw away you have access to a private shower, toilet and hand-wash basin, and oven, hob and kitchen sink. This area is for the sole use of residents at Twlc Trefor and can be found in the outer building just outside the pod. Talybont also has a shop, garage, pharmacy, bookshop, hairdressers and more. Be sure to checkout other amazing areas which are just short drives away. HIKING This picturesque location is situated between the famous Cambrian mountains and Cardigan Bay providing a network of walking trails weaving through historical woodlands and interesting river walks. ROAD CYCLING Road cyclists are also seen enjoying the delights of this uspoilt area with countless routes. Cyclists can explore routes such as the "Pen y Pass from Tal-y-bont," a 63.39-mile loop with significant elevation gain, traversing picturesque landscapes. MOUNTAIN BIKING Bwlch Nant yr Arian, near Aberystwyth, stands out as a premier destination for mountain biking enthusiasts, featuring trails for all abilities from gentle family routes to challenging red-graded tracks. BIRD WATCHING The visitor centre of Bwlch Nant yr Arian also offers exceptional bird watching, with daily red kite feeding sessions providing spectacular aerial displays. Be sure to also check out Ynys-Hir Nature Reserve! FISHING Nant-Y-Moch resevoir is near by for trout fishing (permit needed). Available in the local pub, The White Lion in Talybont. River Leri also runs through Talybont, a good place for trout and sewin (sea trout). OFF-ROADING The area offers green lanes in the hills above Talybont. A popular route is a moderate trail, spanning from Talybont to Dyffryn-Castell - a very enjoyable track with amazing views. SURFING The beach at Borth stretches for 3 miles, perfect for surfing, kiteboarding and windsurfing when conditions are right.
