A charming detached cottage in the village of Sixpenny Handley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with amenities such as a butchers, village shop, playing fields . Easy access to countryside on the Wiltshire/Dorset border offering stunning walks & the Jurassic Coast within 1 hour's drive. A recently refurbished cottage to accommodate up to 4 guests with modern fixtures and fittings to provide comfortable & cosy accommodation throughout. Off road parking and a private garden with patio & BBQ
We are contactable via email or preferably by text message and on arrival we will provide a contact number should you need to contact us in an emergency during your stay.
The village provides some excellent facilities. The Penny Tap is very popular on a Friday evening or Saturday lunch time for all ages and the village has a lovely playground and green. There is also the camp site open to the public for meals and has great playing facilities too. The village shop is extremely well stocked and the village butchers is outstanding.
There are regular red buses that come via the village that go to towns such as Blandford, Salisbury or even to Bournemouth.
From the village there are some lovely bridleways and paths you can start from your doorstep and a little further afield you will find unlimited access to fabulous walks within the Cranborne Chase.
