The River Arts Club is at Oldfield, a Victorian riverside mansion nestled on the banks of the river Thames, with landscaped gardens sweeping down to its private river frontage and moorings. It overlooks the Guards Club Island, a natural reserve for birds that can be accessed by a footbridge. Accommodation varies from large suites with open wood fireplaces to a single occupancy room all in keeping with the fabric of the building. The River Arts Club seeks to create a space where guests can find inspiration, unleash their creativity, and leave with a renewed sense of purpose. By seamlessly blending design, wellness and a mindful approach to the environment, we aspire to provide an unforgettable experience that nourishes the soul and sparks the imagination.

The River Arts Club is in the countryside only a short distance from London and close to Bray village, the culinary centre of the British countryside with its two Michelin 3 starred restaurants, Michel Roux’s Waterside Inn and Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck. Also in Bray is the one starred pub The Hind’s Head and The Crown. Nearby are The Royal Oak (1 star) in Maidenhead, the Hand and Flower (2 stars) in nearby Marlow and the stately Cliveden with its spa and National Trust Park.
