It has a king size bed with en suite shower and seperate wc. The lounge area has a kitchenette with microwave, fridge and a double sofa bed. The property has a private entrance and free on street parking. The drive is very steep and the garden is open, so not suitable for people with mobility issues and toddlers must always be supervised outside. A new large patio is directly outside the apartment front door for your exclusive use with river Exe views. We have Virginmedia broadband and tv package with Sky Sports, and you can stream your own Netflix etc. The cathedral city of Exeter is about a 40 minute walk, there are regular bus services on nearby Topsham Road to the city centre.

Countess Wear village is an historic village of thatched cottages and narrow streets and has a unique setting on the edge of the river Exe. It is a quiet beauty spot where nature is in abundance. Swans and ducks are just some of the residents visible from the property along with cattle, herons and many other birds as RSPB Matford Marshes is within walking distance. The Tally Ho is the local pub serving food only 300m from the front door. You can also walk to The Double Locks pub on the canal about 20 minutes walk. Guests can access cycle and walking routes directly outside the property, so park up your car and travel to lots of destinations on foot or by bicycle. The circular route follows the river and canal with pub stops along the way. The paths also lead to Exeter's historic Quay, the vibrant Cathedral City Centre and to the sandy beaches of Exmouth and Dawlish. The quaint town of Topsham is also nearby with it's beautiful buildings and independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The main bus stop to all destinations is about 5 minute walk from the property. There is access to the river Exe directly outside the property should you have a paddleboard or canoe! It is tidal so access depends on tide times. We can provide you with more information.
