Rose Cottage is a cosy character cottage located in the quaint village of Darsham, Suffolk. It is located just off the A12 and is a short drive from popular seaside destinations such as Southwold, Aldeburgh, Walberswick and Dunwich. Other local attractions include RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve, Framlingham Castle and an array of beautiful country walks as well as great golf courses. The cottage benefits from a private front and side garden, providing a lovely space for al fresco dining and enjoying the outdoors. Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay but must remain on the ground floor and gardens. On the ground floor there is a fully fitted kitchen and dining area, a sitting room with a log burning fire and TV and a porch entrance room. The second floor consists of two double bedrooms with King beds, a single bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower, wash basin and WC. Rose Cottage is located next door to a beautiful village pub which is open every day, so you won't have to travel far for a good meal and/or a drink. The cottage is perfect for families, couples, and friends.

I am the landlady at the pub next door, The Fox Inn, which I run alongside my husband Harry. We are delighted to offer our lovely little cottage up for guests and hope you enjoy the area as much as we do. We live locally and are more than happy to share our extensive knowledge of the beautiful Suffolk Coastal area.

Darsham is a lovely little village located just off the A12, in the Suffolk Coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Darsham is served by a train station with regular service to London via Ipswich. The train station is located less than a mile from the cottage and very walkable. If driving, there are fantastic beaches, heathland, and unspoilt countryside to explore within a short distance of the village, with Minsmere nature reserve (RSPB) less than 10 minutes’ drive away. There is also a service station with a shop, cafes, and a church in the village, as well as the fantastic pub located next door to the cottage.
