Rose lodge is a self contained Annex at the bottom of our garden, it has separate access and comes fully equipped for a very comfortable self contained short or long stay. We are located 30 minute drive from Luton airport and a 6 minute bus ride from St Albans town centre. There is a hot tub for use by the guests upon request, for a small additional fee. There is a small separate patio area outside the Annex with a table and two chairs in our shared garden. We have two very friendly elderly dogs. Rose Lodge is perfect for a mini break stay, or professionals who are looking for a home from home environment whilst working in the area. Our guests receive a warm welcome, tea coffee and some breakfast items are provided in the Annex, all included in the price. We have been hosting in our home now for 5 years, we love to meet new people. We are friendly and accommodating. We are dog lovers, in fact we love all animals. We enjoy working in our garden at weekends. We allow our dogs free to roam in the garden so you may encounter them during your stay. We Welcome all our guests to our home. It is a very safe neighbourhood, on an estate. there is ample free parking in our road. It can be very busy in the mornings between 8.30am to 9.30am and again at around 3.30pm during term time due to there being two schools located on our road. But in the Annex it is very quiet. There is a regular bus service, the bus stop is 30 yards from our house. There are lots of lovely places to walk, a local supermarket and takeaways in the little parade of shops on High Oaks. We are a 20 minute walk from the Town centre. We are very close to many popular local attractions and historical sites, such as St Albans Museum and Cathedral, the Roman Verulamium, Childwickbury Manor, Home to the late Stanley Kubrick and Gorhambury Estate which hosts many local open air theatrical events throughout the summer months, within the grounds of the original Roman Amphitheatre.
