Hi, I am Rachel, a warm and welcoming host with a passion for providing exceptional experiences for my guests. Together with my partner, we live in the beautiful countryside of Lincolnshire with our daughter and two lively Spaniels. Having lived and worked in the area for many years, I have a deep appreciation for the peace and tranquility of the countryside. I understand the importance of having a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind, which is why I was thrilled to have the opportunity to convert a derelict cow shed into a luxury, self-contained living space. In 2022, I proudly introduced The Cow Shed as a place for friends, family and guests to stay and experience the beauty of the surrounding countryside. The Cow Shed is delightfully situated in the heart of the countryside between the Lincolnshire villages of Castle Bytham and Little Bytham, which borders the smallest county in the UK, Rutland. Ideally situated if you are looking to explore the surrounding countryside and the charming market towns of Stamford and Oakham. We are also very fortunate to have a number of historic stately homes on our doorstep: Burghley House, Belvoir Castle, Belton House and Grimsthorpe Castle Park & Gardens. There are two pubs in the local village as well as a community village shop run by local volunteers. There are ample country pubs to choose from in the surrounding area to pop into for a drink or bite to eat. The Cow Shed is also conveniently situated a short distance from the A1 so it's an ideal stop-off point if you are travelling further afield and you're looking for somewhere cozy and quiet to rest your head.
