My husband and I bought Saltwater Pearl in January 2023. Our love of the sea, the beach, coastal walks, independent shops and quaint cafes and fudge shops, not forgetting the charming harbour and dramatic tides brought us to Ilfracombe and we love to be able to share our home with guests to enjoy the holidays that we also enjoy.

Saltwater Pearl is tucked away on a central, yet quiet and traditional, street in the heart of beautiful Ilfracombe. Close to the arty shops, bars and restaurants as well as the towns’ beaches too. This property is just 5 minutes walk from the stunning Tunnels Beach, as well as 10-15 minutes walk from the lively Ilfracombe Harbour, with it’s infamous ‘Verity’ sculpture by Damien Hirst. This location also provides an excellent base to surf in nearby Woolacombe (10 mins by car) or Croyde if you fancy taking on the waves, or you may prefer to explore the rock pools of stunningly rugged Lee Bay, or quaint, Combe Martin. Whatever you chose, you will be spoilt for ideas no matter what you decide to do, and will need to come back and visit again soon in order to fulfil your North Devon dreams. This property provides a great location to explore ilfracombe without the need of a car at all! As everything you need is just a moment away. Limited on street parking available within the street but multiple town car parks and 24 hour carparks are a few minutes walk away in several directions.
