Seagull Escapes is located on a quiet residential street. At the bottom of the street you find a small supermarket, the very popular Bella Rose Cafe, and North Bay Fisheries with their award winning fish & chips! Opposite the shops is the entrance to Peasholm Park, which is perfect for a walk in the sun and offers boat rides on the lake. 10 minutes from our holiday home lies the Scarborough North bay with its beautiful sandy beach and the Open Air theatre if you are planning to see a show. Especially great for children are attractions like the Scarborough North Bay Railway and the Scarborough Sky Trail Adventure. Enjoy the sea views while spending some fun time with your family at crazy golf or enjoy an ice cream at the Oasis Cafe. You will find great options for shopping in the town centre which is just a 15 minute walk from Seagull Escapes. We also recommend to visit the south bay which offers another great sandy beach, nice views of the castle and multiple attractions such as: Luna amusement park, multiple arcades, the Olympia bowling alley and lots of great restaurants and bars. Not forgetting various boat trips which include family boat excursions, speed boat rides and organised fishing trips. The south bay is easily accessible by car with many car parks to choose from (go early in peak seasons). If you wish to walk it will take roughly 15 - 20 minutes to get to the cliff lift located next to the Grand Hotel which will take you directly down to the beach. In this neighbourhood you are spoiled for choice when it comes to fun summer activities.
