Glenburn is a traditional victorian house set within 0.6 of an acre of landscaped grounds. The house is extremely private. There is a large area of private parking directly available at the front of the house for guests to use. Access to The 'studio' its self is directly off of the private parking and to the left hand side of the main house. The 'studio' has an open plan setting, with a bright, clean and comfortable feel. It provides all of the necessary facilities and amenities for an enjoyable stay. It has fast speed WiFi, 54" tv with Netflix, and full kitchen facilities including a washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker, microwave etc. At the bottom of the driveway you have access to miles of woodland walks whilst still only being a few minutes away from all of the necessary amenities in Fochabers Village itself.

Having lived in Glenburn for 17 years we still very much enjoy the open spaces, beautiful woodland walks and river walks that are on our doorstep. Glenburn/Glenburn Studio is very fortunate to have such beautiful grounds looking onto the woodlands, with private parking and yet only a few minutes walk from the village centre. We really hope that our 'guests' enjoy the peace and beauty of living here as much as we do.

Glenburn is ideally situated for access to all of the wonderful woodland, riverside and hillside walks surrounding the village of Fochabers and within the village centre itself. This quiet village has all of the amenities that are required for an enjoyable stay, including restaurants, cafes, a garden centre, antique shops, a mini supermarket, Gordon Chapel, Fochabers Castle walled gardens & restaurant, Fochabers Museum, as well as the famous fish and chip shop & ice cream parlour. Further afield, we are surrounded by so many lovely seaside towns, and Scottish villages in the Highlands and heading up to Inverness. Each day can be spent investigating a different landscape, or beautiful scenery. Obviously, with Fochabers being in the middle of such a large tourist area there are plenty of visitor attractions and events to keep guests busy! We are also very central to a large variety of different towns and villages within Moray - and further afield. Only one hour away from Culloden, Inverness and Loch Ness - the gateway to the West Coast, and two hours away from Royal Deeside and Balmoral Castle, with Aviemore also one hour away, ideal for ski-ing in winter. Coastal Beach villages such as Findhorn, Lossiemouth, Burghead, Sandend and many others offer an enjoyable day away with peaceful beach strolls or sport. Our local beach Spey Bay, is only four miles away - with its Dolphin and Whale centre, mini shop & cafe. It can be reached by car, or by taking a 4 km walk along the famous Spey Bay Walk direct from within the village itself. Moray is of course home to the Whisky Distillery (Tours), Tourist Attractions including many Castles and Golf Courses. There is always plenty to do! There are hourly buses going North to Inverness, or East/South East to Buckie & Aberdeen. A train station North or South is available in Keith (10 mins by car) or Elgin (15 mins by car) or by bus. Nearest Airports: Aberdeen 1.15 hr away or Inverness 1 hr away.
