Shed Gwely is nestled within the grounds of the old Govilon forge dating back to 1675. Running just adjacent is the Cwm Shenkin Brook, tumbling from its source at the keepers pond high up on the Blorenge mountain. Shed Gwely funnily enough was a shed! Lovingly crafted from upcycled, donated and new parts including my husbands inordinate fondness for pallets! Now it’s a tranquil stress free retreat for couples seeking a short (or long) getaway, with all the amenities including a king size bed, fully equipped modern kitchen, private bathroom with everything you would expect including heated flooring. Central heating, WiFi, large fully loaded smart TV and log burner make for a complete self contained cabin. The private garden with seating, BBQ, luxury alfresco outdoor shower (hot of course!) enable one to fully enjoy the great outdoors. A guest book show's you it’s journey for you to participate in its ongoing adventure. Please note access to Shed Gwely requires walking past Eleven (a small adorable dog), she is very friendly and will not hurt anyone and does not have access to Shed Gwely's private garden. Check in is 15H00, earlier maybe possible, please message us and we will do what we can. Check out is noon at latest. Parking - There is free parking for one car, if you have a second csr there is a free car park just up the street.
