Nestled in the heart of Whitby on one of the oldest streets in Whitby lies Sherlocks Lodgings located on the 2nd floor of the intriguing Sherlocks Coffee House. Our newly refurbished B and B rooms offer beautiful accommodation and a hearty breakfast served downstairs in Sherlocks Coffee House overlooking the hustle and bustle of the street below.
Our rooms have en-suite shower rooms with complimentary toiletries, including Sherlocks Homemade soap. Tea and coffee facilities are available including freshly ground coffee and speciality teas.

As we are located in the heart of Whitby we are a stones throw away from all the sights. A short walk takes you to the old swing bridge leading across the river to the cobbled streets heading up to the Abbey. or take a stroll to the beach which is a 5 min walk or take the Whitby Tour Bus to hop on and off and get a real feel for Whitby. The Museum and Park is just a few minutes away up the hill with delightful grounds and a wonderful museum which is well worth a visit. Or take the steam train and head out to the country on this nostalgic train. Whatever you do I'm sure you will have a fantastic time in our beautiful town
