Property information

Originally built around 1820, Shorehead Guest House is a traditional fisherman's dwelling with fantastic views of Stonehaven Harbour. It is located at the start of the breath-taking coastal path to Dunnottar Castle which is about 1.5 miles away.

Shorehead Guest House is ideally located to experience the charm of the historic seaside town of Stonehaven. You will find award-winning bars and restaurants showcasing the best of Scottish fare as well as freshly caught seafood within easy walking distance. There's lots to do in the area including taking a stroll along the boardwalk along Cowie Beach, exploring sea caves on a paddle board, taking a sauna by the sea, fishing, taking a dip in the heated open-air swimming pool or hiring a boat. Many visitors enjoy exploring the "auld toon", visit the Tolbooth museum and, of course, visit Dunnottar Castle. Alternatively, you can kick back, relax and enjoy the views.
