Welcome to The Southcliff, a Victorian building built in 1879. Turning left from our main door a short 5-minute walk can take you to South beach. Turning right a 5-minute walk can take you to the town centre, the historical stone walls are home to many restaurants, shops, cafes, and pubs. We offer a Bed and Breakfast experience in a comfortable child-free environment. A large public car park is just opposite our Bed and Breakfast (30 seconds walk) and the Train station is close by (9-minute walk). On arrival, you will be shown to your room and given a set of keys, access to the Wi-Fi and shown the breakfast options. The keys include a room key, front black door key, and white glass door key, so you can come and go as you please. We are a child-free Bed and Breakfast, and we expect all our guests to show a high level of mutual respect to other guests. A continental breakfast will be served to your room in a breakfast basket with a choice of; hot and cold beverages, cereals, fruits, and cooked breakfast wraps (bacon, sausage and egg). Plenty of activities await you in Tenby as the medieval town walls are only a minutes’ walk away where inside is a labyrinth of shops and restaurants to be discovered. Down in the harbour you can book a boat trip to visit Caldey island home to the monks and fudge shop or you could venture on a fishing trip into the waters around Tenby and Caldey Island. For the physically active there is a lovely walk out to Saundersfoot hugging the coastline and a regular bus for an easy ride back. The natural golden warm sands and crystalline blue of the sea during summer is delightful whilst watching the setting sun bask orange glow across the sky is truly unforgettable. Tenby’s beaches have been awarded blue flag status meaning they are clean and safe, so build sandcastles with a bucket a spade, bask in the sun’s rays, or even get yourself a wetsuit and body board to enjoy the waves.

The Southcliff is a small family-owned business with a lot of character and personal touches. We have operated and improved the B&B over the past several years. Our most notable improvements have been our lounge bar which was handmade and decorated to create a comfortable relaxing space for our guests. The lounge bar is an informal, charming space open during the day suitable for relaxing. With snacks, non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks available during the evening. In many of the rooms the countertops and bedside tables have been refurbished or fully recreated to best suit our guests needs. The beautiful Victorian architecture can be seen in our rooms and stairways while the rooms host modern amenities and bathrooms. Tenby’s beautiful environment encourages surfing, walking, cycling as well as being famed for our annual Ironman event, long course weekend and Boxing Day Swim. The Southcliff bed & breakfast is a Victorian building constructed in 1897 with modern amenities. Opposite is a large public carpark. With a 5-minute walk from South beach and town centre.
