Stables Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and dining seating for four guests and a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor double and a twin, serviced by a ground-floor bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed front garden with lawn and parking is available. Shared outbuilding with communal facilities including a payphone, external shower rooms, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, books, games, DVDs, and tourist information. Within 5.2 miles you will find a shop and within 0.7 miles, a pub and please note that two well-behaved pets are welcome for an additional fee but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A travel cot is also available on request. Stables Cottage is a charming base for your next getaway to Herefordshire. Free fishing is available at Pearl Lake for anyone staying in our lodges. Rules and passes to be collected from reception. We also have an onsite restaurant, bar, and golf for you to enjoy during your stay. Note: The stairs up to the twin bedroom are very steep, please take care. Leominster, dating back to the 7th century possesses some fine examples of architecture including the Priory Church, along with a wide selection of shops, cafes, antiques centres and pubs - an ideal place to spend an afternoon. Close by are many National Trust properties including Croft Castle and Berrington Hall, plus the Judge's Lodgings in Presteigne, Stokesay Castle, the renowned Shropshire Discovery Centre and the Acton Scott Historic Farm.
