Steam and Stars Luxury Glamping consists of a stylish and well equipped self contained shepherd's hut with a Scandinavian wood fired hot tub, and a chic vintage caravan with Laura Ashley décor which takes you back to the 1970’s for a fun and quirky stay. Set alongside the Quantock Hills with magnificently dark night skies. An ideal location for exploring the West Somerset Coast, Quantock Hills AONB and Exmoor. Overlooking the West Somerset Steam Railway with a viewing platform from which to watch the passing heritage trains and wildlife. The Shepherd's Hut has it's own private bathroom and The Vintage Caravan has use of a separate private shower room in the nearby cabin. Guests in both accommodations also have access to a cabin kitchen room and a separate toilet and drying area. Our accommodation is perfect for two couples wanting to holiday together yet still have their own space and wash facilities. Free WiFi & USB charging. Free on site parking. Free Electric Vehicle charging point (slow charge). Dogs welcome. We provide enough wood for one nights use in the log burner and fire pits. Logs will need to be purchased for the hot tub (we can supply) or alternatively we offer a chargeable hot tub preheating service for your day of arrival.

Steam and Stars is managed by Jon and Clare. It's easy to fall in love, like we did, with West Somerset and it's stunning coastline, the Quantock Hills and Exmoor beyond. We live on site and we're happy to help with any questions before or during your stay.

Popular nearby spots include, Dunster castle, Tarr Steps, the walking trails of Exmoor and the Quantock hills. The costal town of Watchet is near by and Minehead beach is a fab spot for swimming at high tide. There is a bus stop one minute away with busses that go from Taunton to Minehead and onward. It's easy to have a great time here even without a car.
