Toddles Barn offers a stunning, recently converted rustic retreat just minutes away from the wonders of the Lake District. Located in the small, friendly village of Skelton, the property is surrounded by rolling countryside & the foothills of the northern Lake District fells. Toddles reveals its history without compromising on modern conveniences. This 17th century building has been upgraded to provide the highest levels of comfort while featuring original stone and woodwork.

Skelton is a delightful little (population: 1,153) working village located just outside the Lake District National Park. The village is surrounded by picturesque fields full of sheep, horses, and cows. The village pub - The Dog & Gun Inn - has put Skelton on the nation's culinary map when it was (rightly) awarded a Michelin star in 2022. Toddles Barn is located on the edge of the village, next to the 700 years old St Michael's Church. Getting to Skelton from elsewhere in the UK requires wheels of some kind, whether two or four. Once here, driving offers the opportunity to quickly gain access even the most far-flung corners of the Lake District and north Pennines. That said, there are a number of wonderful walks in the surrounding countryside direct from Toddles Barn's doorstep. For cyclists, this area of Cumbria is a cycling wonderland, with quiet, gently rolling roads dotted with quaint villages and mountain backdrops.
