The kitchen is very well equipped with all the basics for cooking and a generous welcome hamper with bacon, eggs, bread, biscuits and wine. You eat at the beautiful oak table in the separate dining room with a fire blazing on chilly evenings. Or saunter down to The Blacksmith Arms and have a pint while the children play in the village field. You have your own private walled garden at the back, a sun-trap during the day, and with table, chairs and a family-sized barbecue. NESTLING deep in the Ryedale countryside, just a stone’s throw from Kirkham Priory, Westow, is a gorgeous little village with a pub and a village hall at the heart of its community. We are blessed with local milkman who delivers papers, and fresh milk to the door; a local butcher who sells organic meat from the local area (and delicious!) and organic farmer boxes can be arranged. For the kids, there's a great playground on the road to the church.
