The apartment has a beautiful, open, riverside view and is perfectly located to discover the city. It is a short walk to the SSE arena, host to the biggest names in entertainment, and on to the famous Titanic visitor centre and Game of Thrones studios. Or crossing the river takes you to the must visit St Georges market for its local food and craft stalls, the International Convention Centre and the main shopping centre in Belfast, the Victoria Centre. Another few minutes on foot takes you to the Cathedral Quarter with its excellent bars, restaurants and theatres. The City Hall is also only a few minutes walk from the Victoria Centre where you can catch interesting bus tours of the city or take a metro bus to some of the local sights a little further afield, such as the No 1 bus to Belfast Castle and the walks up to Cave Hill for stunning views over the city. I've lived and worked in Belfast most of my life, enjoying just a few years living and working in Canada, and also travelling quite a bit, especially in France where my husband Peter and I own another lovely holiday home. We travel there with our two children, Luke 14 and Holly 12, as often as possible but are happy to then return to Belfast for work and school and to plan our next adventure! This apartment was the first home I purchased, in 1993 as a young trainee chartered accountant, starting out on my career. It provided the perfect base for getting to the office and travelling to clients, enjoying the city and hosting friends. I love this apartment, and when I moved to Canada I rented it out and on my return and moving on to a bigger family home, I decided to keep it. It is still the perfect location in the city and is a useful base for nights out, perhaps the children will enjoy it in a few years too.
